SCS is approved to deliver credit reports over the Internet. SCS has been offering remote system-to-system access to credit information since August 1, 1994. We have added Internet access capabilities to our existing 32 bit Windows based information processing software named Xpert. The Xpert software was developed by Synergistic Software and has been in production since April 1997 and has processed millions of remote credit access requests through dialup and private network methods. Synergistic has developed a secure Internet processing system specifically for running our new Xpert Online Internet access to our tested and proven Xpert processing system. STATEWIDE CREDIT SERVICES has met all system and security requirements for the credit industry Internet delivery.

Encryption consists of 128-bit Secure Socket Layer encryption. All non-public information is sent via the HTTPS protocol. Browser caching is disabled on pages containing non-public information. Web servers delivering this information are also configured to disable caching. The processing server in the secure area of the network will retain information for up to 90 days before it is archived and removed.

The certificate server managed by Xpert Online is installed on the ICSA TruSecure certified site.
